Thank you for choosing Big Cedar and allowing us the opportunity to make your stay in the Ozarks a pleasant one. We are looking forward to serving you and will do our very best to provide you with a memorable experience. In order to get the most enjoyment out of your visit, please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures we have established for your convenience.
Advance Deposit Policy:
All reservations will require an advance deposit equaling an average of one night's stay at the time of booking. The advance deposit is fully refundable up to twenty one (21) days prior to your arrival date. At twenty one (21) days, the remaining up to one-half of your stay will be charged. Packages and all holiday stays (Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve) will require a one hundred percent (100%) deposit twenty one (21) days prior to your arrival date. The deposit, which is applied to the cost of your accommodation will, unless we are otherwise requested, be charged to the credit card used to confirm. Cancellations made inside twenty one (21) days prior to your arrival will result in forfeiting one hundred percent (100%) of both deposits. You will be charged for late arrival, no-show or early departure at the nightly rate of your original reservation. For consecutive or multiple reservations, an additional deposit will be required and is non-refundable.
Confirmed Reservations:
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS and limited Diners Club. A confirmed reservation will hold your accommodations through the night of your arrival. Once you have confirmed your reservation, you are guaranteed a room type. We will strive to fulfill requests for a specific room number and location; however we cannot guarantee such a request.
Special Requests:
You may request a rollaway bed, refrigerator or microwave, which will be placed in your room prior to your arrival (subject to availability). There is a $15 charge for each rollaway bed, refrigerator or microwave per night. Complimentary cribs and pack and plays (subject to availability) will be furnished upon request.
If you have requested a specific room number or location, Big Cedar Lodge cannot guarantee this request due to the sheer volume of these requests. We are also not able to guarantee a view from your room per the Shoreline Management Plan for Table Rock Lake. The plan strictly prohibits trimming of trees on the Corps of Engineer property for purposes of view of the lake.
Weekend and Holiday Minimums:
All weekend bookings require a (2) two night minimum stay. All weekend bookings from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend require a (3) three night minimum stay. All holiday stays require a (3) three night minimum booking.
Additional Guests:
A surcharge of $15 per adult, per night will apply to reservations exceeding the stated adult minimum per accommodation.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed in the rooms or on the grounds of Big Cedar Lodge. Should a pet be discovered in the room, you will be billed a $200 cleaning and deodorizing fee.
No Smoking Policy:
Guests electing to ignore our no smoking policy in the rooms will be assessed a $200 cleaning and deodorizing fee.
Candle Burning Policy:
Candle burning is not allowed in any room type at Big Cedar Lodge at any time.
Live Christmas Tree Policy
No live Christmas trees are allowed in any room type at Big Cedar Lodge at any time.
Check-In Time
Our check-in time is 3:00pm. If you intend to arrive before 3:00pm, please notify the Front Desk. We will make every effort to have your room available to you, but we suggest that you plan to occupy your accommodations after that time. You are invited to enjoy the resort facilities before you check in on the scheduled day of your arrival.
Check-Out Time
Our check-out time is 11:00am. A late charge of $100 will be charged to rooms that are not vacant after 11:00am and full rate after 3:00pm. Fees will be waived with any pre-approved late check-out. If you are involved in changing rooms, please be prepared to vacate your first room by 11:00am. It is not necessary to check out at the front desk — simply notify the desk upon vacating the room and your current charges will be transferred to your new room. If your luggage is packed and left inside the room, our staff will place it in the new room for you. Your new room will be available after 3:00pm.
Room Damages
You are responsible for leaving the room in the same condition (with normal usage) as it was found when you arrived. The registered guest will be held responsible for any and all damages to the room found during or after departure. This property is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We assume no responsibility for accidents or injuries to guests or vehicles. We will not be responsible for loss or damage to valuables that are not stored in the safety deposit boxes located at the front desk.
