Thursday

3:00 PM: Arrive at Big Cedar Lodge, check in to your accommodation, and discover all of our amenities!

Pro Tip: Make dinner and activity reservations* before arrival then immerse yourself in the beauty of your surroundings worry-free!

4:00 PM: After you’ve settled your belongings into your accommodation, stroll over to our Big Bass Mini Golf for a family-friendly round of putt-putt, or stop by The Shoppe to stock up on snacks, beverages, and the latest Big Cedar Lodge gear!

6:00 PM: Head out for your private Meet & Greet with the Easter Bunny* at Fun Mountain and dinner at Uncle Buck’s. Challenge the family to a race around the go-cart track or a friendly round of bumper cars!

8:00 PM: Check in at the Swimmin’ Hole Lawn with your team to compete in the Blacklight in the Night Scavenger Hunt*! Solve some riddles around Big Cedar property and race back to see if your team finishes first!

9:00 PM: Time to head back to your cabin, cozy up to the fire, and get rested up for your weekend adventures in the great outdoors!

Pro Tip: For in-room snacking and convenience, enjoy our in-room dining service or plan ahead and have provisions delivered straight to your door from Nature’s Wonders.

Good Friday

BREAKFAST: Start your day at Devil’s Pool Restaurant for breakfast and coffee.

9:00 AM: Take a short drive to Dogwood Canyon, our 10,000 acre nature park for segway tours, horseback riding, hiking, biking, and more!

LUNCH: After a day of exploring, stop for lunch at the Dogwood Canyon Canyon Mill & Grill built right over Indian Creek.

Return to the resort and relax by the pool or snag one of our complimentary paddle boats or canoes at Bent Hook Marina.

3:00 PM: Hop over to the Easter Welcome Table at the registration building to join the Easter Bunny and activities staff to learn more about all of the activities planned during your stay.

Pro Tip: Book your Easter Bunny Hop-In* and let the Easter Bunny surprise your little ones on Easter Eve or Easter morning with a special Easter basket full of goodies to your children.

5:00 PM: Time to grab a shuttle and check in at Fun Mountain for an under-water bowling adventure like no other! With a unique challenge in each frame, the Bunny Bowl Tournament* will keep you laughing all night!  Gutter Ball Nachos, pizza, and wings from Uncle Buck’s make the perfect dinner combo for this fun family night.

7:00 PM: Gather all your peeps and head into the Table Rock Event Room at Fun Mountain for egg decorating, crafts, and a special showing of the movie “Hop’.  

8:00 PM: Enjoy the family campfire, roast s’mores, and watch a movie on the Swimmin’ Hole lawn.

9:00 PM: If you’re still up for more fun, head down to the Buzzard Bar for a snack, drinks, and family-friendly live entertainment before heading back to your cabin for the night.

Saturday

BREAKFAST: Rise and shine and make your way to Truman Cafe & Custard for coffee, breakfast bites, and smoothies.

9:30 AM: Lace up and head to the Fitness Center to join in the annual Big Cedar Bunny Hop 5k. This all-age family activity is the perfect way to enjoy the natural beauty of the Ozarks and breathtaking views as you wind your way through Big Cedar along the 5K trail.

LUNCH: Time to relax and enjoy delicious southern homestyle cooking and stunning lake views on the outdoor patio at Devil’s Pool Restaurant.

Next, check in at the Grandview Conference Center lawn for Big Cedar’s Annual Easter Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt & Festival! Collect your egg hunt clue sheet that will lead you on a fun scavenger hunt across the property finding yummy, filled eggs the Easter Bunny hid with the help of our friendly Big Cedar team! After you complete the egg hunt you can enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, crafts, and more!

1:00 PM: Teens might choose to compete in a friendly Archery Tag Egg Hunt at Fun Mountain’s Outdoor Archery Tag arena to earn points and win prizes!

4:00 PM: Grab a shuttle to head out for an evening at Top of the Rock and take off on an electric cart on the Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail tour.

5:00 PM: Come face to face with prehistoric creatures, explore Civil War history and take in the largest most impressive collection of Native American artifacts in the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum.

Pro Tip: Take time to explore Arnie’s General Store to find unique, hand-crafted items created in the Ozarks.

6:30 PM: For dinner, dine on the patio of the Buffalo Bar or in the atrium at Osage Restaurant and enjoy picturesque views of Table Rock Lake and experience our evening Sunset Ceremony complete with the firing of the canon and a bag-piper.

Easter Sunday

SUNRISE GARDEN CHAPEL EASTER SERVICE: Begin this special day by attending a nondenominational Easter Service* in the gorgeous Garden Chapel at Big Cedar Lodge. Services are offered on Sunday, April 9th starting with sunrise service at 6:30am, and additional services at 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30 and 1:00pm.

BREAKFAST: Order in-room dining or revisit Devil’s Pool Restaurant or Truman Cafe & Custard for breakfast and coffee. 

11:00 AM: Bring the kids to the kid’s fishing* pond near the Swimmin’ Hole Lawn for their chance to take home the trophy for reeling in the biggest fish of the day!

NOON: Use the Shuttle App for convenient transportation to Top of the Rock for Sunday Brunch at Osage Restaurant*.

Pro Tip: Book a Family Portrait Session* to capture the memories with the beauty of Big Cedar as the perfect portrait backdrop.

EXTEND YOUR STAY ALL DAY: Book private childcare* through the Kids’ Nature Discovery Center at Fun Mountain. The kids will have a fun-filled afternoon adventure with our activities staff while Mom & Dad enjoy late afternoon massages and relax by the grotto in our world-class Cedar Creek Spa* or play a round of golf at one of our Award-Winning Nature Golf* courses.
