During January and February, America’s Premier Wilderness resort kicks off its Season of Celebrations with a variety of activities for all ages. Guests can unwind surrounded by the beauty of the Ozarks while creating new exciting memories with friends and family for years to come.
Whether you’re looking for a little R&R or stunning dinner views, Big Cedar Lodge is the perfect location to jump start your New Year plans. From perfectly paired wine dinners at the Worman House Bistro, soaking up the views around the campfire with family and friends, or watching the sunset over sparkling Table Rock Lake. We have everything to make this winter season one to remember.
The 29th annual Celebration of Tastes event at America’s Premier wilderness resort is back by popular demand! The nearly sold-out tasting parties run from Friday January 20- Saturday, January 21.
Guests can mingle with connoisseurs, enjoy playful pairings, and connect with renowned winemakers, Elizabeth Vianna of Chimney Rock and Trey Fletcher of Sanford Wines. Celebration of Tastes opening event at Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy is still available. ($125 pp.)
Looking for a one-of-a-kind craft cocktail experience? Look no further than Big Cedar Lodge’s Cocktails in the Kitchen event. This activity is sure to shake up your Thursday afternoons.
Guests will learn mixology, enjoy delicious pairings, and discover behind-the-scenes insight at the upscale Osage Restaurant’s Chef’s Kitchen at Top of The Rock Ozark Heritage Preserve. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend this event. ($48 pp plus tax and gratuity to be charged on site.)
Spending time and relaxing with family and friends is easy at Big Cedar Lodge. Listen to the crackling of firewood and smell the sweet scent of smores as you cozy up for a family fun campfire every Friday and Saturday evening. This activity is complimentary and does not require reservations. Offered on the Swimmin’ Hole Lawn every Friday and Saturday starting at 6 PM. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Overnight guests only.
When the winter weather moves your plans indoors, we’ve got you covered with activities that will have your entire family occupied for hours. Bring the whole family out for some bingo fun! Family Bingo is a complimentary activity offered in the Table Rock Room located in Big Cedar Fun Mountain. Eight games of bingo will be played with great prizes for winners to choose from!
The fun doesn’t stop there. Additional activities at Fun Mountain include games such as minute to win it, the not-so-newlywed game, pottery painting, bowling, laser tag, and so much more!
For the inner artist in you, sign up for our paint and pour classes. These classes are led by our Big Cedar Lodge instructor who will guide you through painting your own masterpiece in a fun, laid-back environment. Open to the public. ($60 pp.)
The beauty of Big Cedar Lodge provides the perfect backdrop for your family portrait sessions. All images are posted to an online gallery for purchase. There are no minimum order requirements or pre-made packages. Families can simply pick and choose exactly which photos they like. Digital packages are also available. Family sessions are open to the public, by appointment only. ($75/session.)
In between wine celebrations or family game nights, join us on the Swimmin’ Hole Lawn to experience the “all-weather synthetic” Ice Rink at Big Cedar Lodge! Or hop on Big Cedar Lodge’s Lost Canyon Christmas Cart Tour at Top of The Rock. This exciting adventure will now be open on weekends throughout January 2023.
