Sourdough Workshop
Your journey to making sourdough bread starts here! Join us for a hands-on experience where you will learn everything you need to know to craft your own sourdough from start to finish. You will go home with your own sourdough starter, a beginner friendly sourdough e-book and printed student guide, a student kit as well as a complimentary loaf of sourdough bread that will have been baked fresh that morning!
- Dates and Times:
- June 19 | 1 PM – 3 PM
- July 14 & 24 | 2 PM – 4 PM
- August 23 | 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- September 19 | 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- October 24 | 4 PM – 6 PM
- October 30 | 6 PM – 8 PM
- Location: Paint and Pour Studio, below the Fitness Center
- Cost: $110 per person
Whether you are local or an out of town guest, it is recommended that each participant have a Dutch Oven at home since everyone will bring home dough to bake the next day. The Lodge 5.5-quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven is a great affordable option for this. Of course you can borrow one from a friend until you know you are in this sourdough thing for the long haul!
