Dr. Rhonda Patrick is a scientist and health educator recognized for her leadership in aging and disease prevention. Dr. Patrick’s focus areas include genetic influences in dietary response, micronutrients, sleep, non-pharmacological approaches to mental well-being, and the surprising and paradoxical benefits of biological stressors such as exercise, heat, cold exposure, and plant phytochemicals.

Dan Buettner is a National Geographic Explorer and multiple New York Times bestselling author. He discovered the five places in the world – dubbed blue zones – where people live the longest, healthiest lives. His work has been featured in The New York Times Magazine and National Geographic, where his stories are among the most popular ever published.
Buettner founded Blue Zones LLC, which partners with city governments, hospital systems, and insurance companies to apply lessons from blue zones to help communities live healthier. In Fort Worth, Texas, obesity rates fell by 3%, with $250 million in projected healthcare cost savings. To date, more than 70 cities have adopted Blue Zones Projects, improving the health of over 10 million Americans.
